Happy Snake Year

This work is inspired by the upcoming year 2025, which marks the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. The snake is often seen as a symbol of beauty and elegance, with its sleek, flowing movements that captivate anyone who watches. The way the snake glides, its curves bending and swaying, resembles a dance performance, graceful and mesmerizing. In the spirit of celebrating this unique animal and the new year, I’ve created an interactive experience where users can control the snake’s dance using their mouse. The snake’s movements are designed to reflect the fluid, rhythmic qualities of dance, capturing the essence of the creature’s natural elegance. The interactive code allows users to immerse themselves in this dynamic visual experience, making them feel as though they are part of the performance. As the snake moves, the background comes alive with festive elements, including lively New Year music that enhances the celebration and the dazzling display of fireworks that light up the virtual sky. This combination of visual and auditory elements creates an atmosphere of joy and excitement, symbolizing the arrival of the new year. Through this work, I aim to invite users to celebrate the Year of the Snake in a playful, artistic way, blending visual experience with technology and creativity.
